ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia and Indonesia have signed an air services agreement which will enable Ethiopian Airlines to begin services to Jakarta, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry said in a statement issued here Monday that the agreement was signed last week in Jakarta by Ethiopian State Minister for Transport Abdisa Yadeta and Indonesian Transport Ministry First Secretary Sugihardijo (Eds: One name correct).
Following the signing of the agreement, discussions were held between the two sides focusing on ways of further boosting bilateral co-operation in the field of transportation.
Ethiopian Ambassador to Indonesia Professor Admasu Tsegaye and Director Civil Aviation Wesenyeleh Hunegnaw also attended the agreement signing ceremony.
