Bandung, W Java (ANTARA News) - Heavy rains have caused floods and triggered strong winds in Bandung City of West Java Province on Thursday.
Antara reported here that 30-centimeter-deep floodwaters inundated several roads in Buah Batu, Soekarno Hatta, Caringin, Kopo, Antapani, Pasir Koja, Leuwi Panjang, and Cibaduyut.
Several motorcycle riders stopped by the roadside while awaiting the floodwaters to recede.

"There is no victim due to the fallen trees," the Fire Fighter Service officer Ferdi informed Antara.

The officer also urged people to not venture close to riverbanks due to the rushing river stream.
