Distress Warrants Given to 18 Delinquent Taxpayers in West Jakarta

West Jakarta Taxation and Retribution Sub-agency (Suban PPRD) issued distress warrants to 18 delinquent taxpayers who haven't paid Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) for years.

West Jakarta Suban PPRD Head, Hendarto stated, distress warrant is issued after notice letter has been issued and tax arrears plank has been installed but taxpayers didn't respond it. Total PBB-P2 arrears from those 18 delinquent taxpayers is more than Rp 8.6 billion. It is not included with two-month fine which is imposed 2 percent per month.

"We give them deadline only two days to pay their PBB-P2 arrears. We will confiscate the tax object if they don't pay it off. Objects will be auctioned and the proceeds will be given to regional cash," he stated.

His side reminds Jakartans that all taxes they have paid are used for City development.
