Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin departed for Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday, to officially open the Indonesian Palm Oil Conference (IPOC 2019) and 2020 Price Outlook.
The Association of Indonesian Palm Oil Businessmen (GAPKI) has organized the IPOC 2019 at the Bali International Convention Center in Nusa Dua.
During his working visit to Bali, Amin is accompanied by Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto and the Health Ministry's Director General for Public Health, Kirana Pritasari.
From Nusa Dua, Amin is scheduled to head to Pecatu Village to get a close glimpse of the people's economic development program and stunting eradication program.
The vice president and his entourage will return to Jakarta on the same day, as they will attend a limited cabinet meeting to be chaired by President Joko Widodo at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
Themed "Palm Oil Industry: Managing Market, Enhancing Industry," the 15th Indonesian Palm Oil Conference and 2020 Price Outlook is being organized from Oct 30 to Nov 1, 2019.
The Indonesian Palm Oil Conference & Price Outlook is an annual forum for the palm oil industry players.
This event has become a benchmark for palm oil stakeholders in keeping abreast of the palm oil market trends and price outlook. Latest issues, regulation, and policies of the industry are discussed and shared by prominent and relevant speakers.
