Today (September 4, 2024) at 11:00 a.m., Pol. Gen. Kittirat Phanphet, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, presented certificates of honor under the ‘Do Good, Get Rewards’ project to two police officers: Pol. Lt. Bancha Khambupha, Deputy Superintendent (Traffic), Samet Police Station, and Pol. Sgt. Maj. Baramee Silachetthanan, Commander of the (P.) Unit, Samet Police Station, Chonburi Province.

The incident occurred on September 1, 2024 at approximately 1:00 p.m., while Pol. Lt. Bancha Khambupha, Deputy Inspector (Traffic), Samet Police Station, and Pol. S.T.O. Baramee Silachetthanan, Commander of the Police Unit (P.), Samet Police Station, were on duty. They saw a disabled woman sitting in a wheelchair under the Bang Peng Temple overpass, Samet Subdistrict, Mueang Chonburi District, Chonburi Province. The woman tried to cross the road bu
t was unable to because there were many cars traveling at high speed, she was also tired from the hot weather, and her hand that was used to turn the wheel was inflamed and swollen. The two police officers therefore went to help and sent the woman to her intended destination safely. The people who witnessed the incident recorded a video, and the incident was shared on social media, receiving widespread praise.

Pol. Gen. Kittirat said that he would like to thank and commend both police officers for performing their duties with the hearts of true peacekeepers, which is evident to society. They deserve to be praised under the ‘Do Good, Get Rewards’ project to build morale and encouragement, and to be good examples for society forever. He also asked commanders at all levels to continuously support police officers to perform their duties for the people in this manner.
