Bangkok: BAAC, together with the Thai Red Cross Society, organized a blood donation activity, Give Blood, Give Life 1 million CC., to honor His Majesty the King and the 59th anniversary of the Bank’s founding. The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), in collaboration with the Thai Red Cross Society, held a blood donation event titled ‘Give Blood, Give Life 1 Million CC’ to pay tribute to His Majesty the King on the significant occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024, and to commemorate the 59th anniversary of the Bank’s founding on November 1, 2024.

According to Thai News Agency, the event aimed to motivate the bank’s executives and staff to engage in benevolent activities as a dedication to His Majesty the King. It also sought to augment the reserves of the Thai Red Cross Society’s blood bank for patients requiring urgent medical assistance. This initiative is part of BAAC’s yearly social responsibility programs, which saw participation from B
AAC executives and staff. The event successfully attracted more than 200 blood donors, amassing a total of 72,000 CC of blood.
