Pathum Thani, CCTV footage captured the moment when rivals riding a chopper shot ‘Bang Air,’ a cockfighting expert, to death at a dinner table in Pathum Thani. Today, Bang Air’s father and relatives traveled to receive the body for religious ceremonies.

Footage from a nearby restaurant’s security camera shows the sound of a gunshot, followed by a group of karaoke girls sitting in front of the restaurant running away when they hear the gunshot.

Another angle of the CCTV camera shows the perpetrator riding a chopper motorcycle and parking it in front of the Yen Ta Fo shop. He then gets off and shoots the deceased and rides away towards the entrance of Soi Thepkunchorn 42.

At the scene, the body of Mr. Surat or Bang Air, aged 40, was found. The body had been shot once in the chin with an unknown caliber gun. He was sitting on a marble table with two plates of rice, a hot pot for boiling, two bottles of soda, two glasses, and a large amount of the deceased’s blood flowing out.

Asking the deceased’s friend wh
o was at the scene, he said that at that time there were 3 people sitting together. The perpetrator’s nickname was Pom, whom he knew. The two of them had a problem before, 2-3 years ago. Then today the perpetrator rode a chopper motorcycle and came to greet him. Then the perpetrator went to order rice, but the shop said that the rice was out. So the perpetrator said he would go buy some somewhere else. Then he rode his motorcycle away, but came back and used a gun to shoot the deceased.

This afternoon, Mr. Muhammad, the father of the deceased, along with relatives, traveled to receive the body of Mr. Surat or Bang Air to perform Islamic religious ceremonies at the Forensic Medicine Office, Thammasat University Hospital, Pathum Thani Province.

From questioning Mr. Muhammad, he said that his son had been separated from his son for many years. As for whether his son had any problems with anyone, he did not know because they did not talk much. Before his son was shot to death, there was an omen. He heard someon
e calling at the door, “Pa, Pa” at around 2:00 a.m. But for many days, when he went out to look, there was no one there. He said that his son normally never had any problems with anyone. Mostly, he just gave more.
