Draft of Integrated Entertainment Venues Act Progresses Toward Parliamentary Consideration.


Bangkok: “Chulaphan” reveals the draft of the Integrated Entertainment Business Act B.E. … is in line to enter the parliament for consideration, but it is not clear whether it will be in time this year or not. He emphasized that it is an urgent policy of the government.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, disclosed the progress of the drafting of the Integrated Entertainment Business Act B.E. …, indicating that it is currently in the process of the House and will be submitted to the Senate in due course. However, he could not confirm if it will reach the Cabinet within the year.

Regarding discussions with the coalition government, Mr. Chulaphan stated that there is no conflict, only differing opinions, which is a normal occurrence. He noted that once in parliament, these differing opinions can be expressed and resolved at the committee level. He expressed confidence that there would be no issues, as the process aligns with the government’s policy. Neverth
eless, he refrained from estimating when the consideration would be completed, citing the need to await the agenda’s scheduling. He reiterated the urgency of the policy but remained uncertain if the process would conclude within one to two months.
