Khlong Luang: A fire originating from electrical wires on an electric pole escalated into a devastating blaze, resulting in the destruction of a house in Community 7-8 Phatthana, Village No. 8, Khlong Nueng Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. Early this morning, Khlong Luang Police Station officers were alerted to the incident and coordinated with local emergency services to respond swiftly.
According to Thai News Agency, the fire broke out at around 4:30 a.m. and involved multiple agencies, including Khlong Luang Municipality fire trucks, Tha Khlong Municipality rescue vehicles, and rescue workers from the Por Tek Tung Foundation, who rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the house engulfed in flames, prompting nearby residents to evacuate their homes out of concern for the fire spreading. Firefighters worked diligently for about 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze, ultimately containing it to the one house that suffered severe damage. The homeowner sustained minor injuries and
was reportedly in shock following the incident.
Witnesses reported that the fire began with the electrical wires before spreading to the house, which was constructed of wood, prompting a quick evacuation by the occupants. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. Police officers conducted an initial inspection and documented the scene, with plans to collaborate with Forensic Science Center 1 for a more thorough investigation.
