The three children of Chalong Phakdiwichit tearfully opened up, feeling lucky to have been born as their father’s children in this life. If there is a next life, they want to be born as their father’s children again.
This afternoon (14 Sep 2014), the family of legendary director Chalong Phakdiwichit or Ah Long brought the body of Chalong Phakdiwichit or Mr. Boonchalong Phakdiwichit, National Artist in Performing Arts (Film Director) 2013, who passed away peacefully at 3:30 p.m. on 13 Sep 2014 at Ramathibodi Hospital from old age and complications of a lung infection, to perform religious rites at Sala 10, Wat Makut Kasatriyaram Ratchaworawihan.
At 4:00 p.m., there was a water pouring ceremony. The atmosphere was filled with sadness. Many entertainers, students, and descendants of the industry came to pay their respects.
Ah Long’s three children tearfully revealed that in the past, as children, they had taken good care of their father. Their father had almost no worries because all of his children had thei
r own responsibilities. Every time they met their father, he received blessings in return. Their father’s blessings were like an inspiration to his children. It cannot be denied that the words he often heard would no longer be heard. He felt lucky to have been born as their father and mother’s children in this life. If there really was a next life, he wanted to be born as their father and mother’s children again.
