Meteorology warns of unstable weather, heavy rain in upper Thailand

The Meteorological Department warns of unstable weather in the upper part of Thailand, with heavy rain in some areas of the lower northern region, the central region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the eastern region.

The Meteorological Department forecasts that in the next 24 hours, the upper part of Thailand will experience unstable weather with thunderstorms, strong gusts of wind, and very heavy rain in some areas of the lower North, the Central region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East. In the South, there will be heavy rain in some areas. This is because a high-pressure area or moderate cold air mass from China has spread to cover the eastern part of the North, the Northeast, and the South China Sea, along with a monsoon trough across the Central, the East, and the upper South. People in the upper part of Thailand should be careful of the dangers of thunderstorms, strong gusts of wind, heavy to very heavy rain, and accumulated rain, which may cause flash floods and forest runoff,
especially in areas on hillsides near waterways and lowlands. Avoid being in open areas, under large trees, and weak billboards. Also, take care of your health due to the changing weather conditions.

For the weak southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand, waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will be approximately 1 meter high. In areas with thunderstorms, waves will be higher than 2 meters. Sailors in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should sail with caution and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.
