Mozambican President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi and his spouse arrived in Hanoi on September 8 afternoon, beginning their three-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Party General Secretary and President To Lam and his spouse.
This trip marks President Nyusi’s first visit to Vietnam since taking office and also the first visit by a Mozambican president to the Southeast Asian nation in over 17 years.
