Nida Poll reveals the results of the third quarterly political popularity survey, finding that 31.35 percent support “Paetongtarn” as prime minister, second place is “Teng Nattapong”, third place is “Prachachon Party”, and the party that supports them is the People’s Party, second place is the Pheu Thai Party.
Nida Poll, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), revealed the results of a public survey entitled ‘The 3rd Quarterly Political Popularity Survey 2024’ conducted between 16-23 September 2024 among citizens aged 18 and over, distributed across all regions, education levels, occupations, and incomes nationwide, totaling 2,000 samples.
From the survey, when asked who the public would support to become the prime minister today, it was found that 31.35 percent ranked first, Ms. Paethongtarn (Ung Ing) Shinawatra (Pheu Thai Party) because she is a leader and has tried to solve the people’s problems. 23.50 percent ranked second, said they still haven’t found the right person. 32.90 percent
ranked third, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut (Prachachon Party) because he is a new generation, has good ideas and attitudes.
4.65 percent ranked fourth, Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga (Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party) because he is a reliable person and has experience in administration. 5.80 percent ranked fifth, Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan (Thai Sang Thai Party) because she is capable and experienced in administration, including her position of opposing all forms of dictatorship. 6.00 percent ranked sixth, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul (Bhumjaithai Party) because he is friendly, straightforward, honest, and has a clear position in working.
Ranked 7th, 1.15 percent said General Prawit Wongsuwan (Palang Pracharath Party) because he is decisive and has political experience. 2.80 percent said others, including Mr. Chalermchai Sri-on (Democrat Party), Mr. Chuan Leekpai (Democrat Party), Mr. Wan Muhammad Nor Matha (Prachachat Party), Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa (Chartthaipattana Party), Pol. Col. Thawee Sods
ong (Prachachat Party), Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth Temiyawes (Seri Ruam Thai Party), Mr. Korn Chatikavanij, and Mr. Parit Wacharasindhu. 0.85 percent said no answer/not interested.
Finally, when asked about the political party that the people will support today, it was found that the number 1, 34.25 percent, was the Prachachon Party, the second place, 27.15 percent, was the Pheu Thai Party, the third place, 15.10 percent, said they had not found a suitable political party, the fourth place, 9.95 percent, was the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, the fifth place, 4.40 percent, was the Democrat Party, the sixth place, 3.55 percent, was the Bhumjaithai Party, the seventh place, 2.05 percent, was the Palang Pracharath Party, the eighth place, 1.70 percent, was the Thai Sang Thai Party, 1.10 percent, said others, including the Prachachart Party, the Pheu Thai Ruam Palang Party, the Seri Ruam Thai Party, and the Chartthaipattana Party, and 0.75 percent, said no answer/not interested
