Party Leader Chairs Meeting on Combatting Corruption, Wastefulness.


Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam chaired a meeting of the Standing Board of the Central Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena in Hanoi on October 30.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting in Hanoi focused on strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the prevention and control measures against corrupt practices and wasteful expenditures. The committee deliberated on recent cases and discussed measures to strengthen oversight and enforcement mechanisms to curb these issues.

The Central Steering Committee is responsible for formulating policies and coordinating efforts across various governmental departments to address corruption and wastefulness. The committee’s meeting underscored the importance of transparency and accountability in governance as it seeks to ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively for the development of the nation.
