Pattaya: ‘Pattaya United’ emerged victorious in the Eastern Region Championship of the ‘Chang Junior Cup 2025’, securing a hard-fought 1-0 win against ‘Assumption Sriracha School’. Their triumph at the Pattana Sports Resort in Chonburi Province not only earned them the championship trophy but also a scholarship and the opportunity to compete in the Thailand Championship round.

According to Thai News Agency, the ‘Chang Junior Cup 2025’ is recognized as Thailand’s largest youth football tournament for under-13s, launched by ‘Chang Natural Mineral Water’. The tournament aims to provide world-class experiences, offering exclusive prizes and opportunities that extend beyond the football field. This year, the champions and the ‘Most Talented Player’ will enjoy unparalleled experiences, while the ‘Sportsmanship Awards’ winners will travel to England for football training this August.

The Eastern region’s first qualifying round, held from March 28 to 31, 2025, saw participation from 11 teams. The tournament is supported by the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, Leicester City Football Club, and Bootroom Co., Ltd., the manufacturer of Arigear sportswear. Their collaboration aims to elevate Thai football to international standards, fostering the development of young talent in the sport.
