Pickup truck crashes into 4 cars, 2 dead

A pickup truck crashed into 4 cars in a row, resulting in 2 deaths in the car that was hit head-on and several injuries on the Phikun Thong-Ban Rai road in Mueang District, Ratchaburi Province.

A multi-vehicle accident occurred on the Pikulthong-Ban Rai road, Village 6, Pikulthong sub-district, Mueang district, Ratchaburi province. CCTV footage shows a black pickup truck driving behind at high speed before crashing into the back of another pickup truck in front of it. The car then lost control and hit a sedan and a pickup truck driving in the opposite direction.

After the incident, the police went to inspect and found a bronze car parked in the middle of the road on the way into Ratchaburi city. The rear of the car had scratches from being hit, causing the rear window to break. A short distance away, they found a blue six-wheeled vehicle with a spare tire stuck in the front left wheel. Nearby, they found a bronze sedan with the front of the car badly damaged. Inside the car, there were 2 people dead. Meanw
hile, the black pickup truck (the one in question) had flipped over with its wheels pointing to the sky. There were 3 injured people trapped in the car, 1 man and 2 women, who were in serious condition. Officers took them to the hospital. Across the median, they found another white pickup truck with the front of the car badly damaged. In addition, there were car parts scattered all over the road. Traffic was heavily congested. Officers had to quickly clear the road and move the car parts to the side of the road.

The driver of the bronze pickup truck that was hit from behind by the first black pickup truck said that he was driving from Ban Rai Chao Nuea heading to Ratchaburi town. When he reached the scene of the accident, he looked in the rearview mirror and saw a black pickup truck speeding before crashing into the back of his car. He then lost control and hit a sedan and a pickup truck that were driving in the opposite direction. Then the spare tire, not sure which car it belonged to, flew off and hit a si
x-wheeled truck that was driving behind. At the scene of the accident, a total of 5 cars were damaged.

Initially, the chief of the Muang Ratchaburi Police Station revealed that after checking the surveillance cameras of the Pikulthong Subdistrict Administrative Organization, it was found that the cause of the accident was a black pickup truck. Therefore, the driver of the black pickup truck will be quickly detained for questioning and prosecution after he recovers.
