Bangkok: Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, advisor to the Prime Minister, announced that Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra expressed her gratitude to the citizens for their growing confidence in her leadership and the government’s efforts. She emphasized her commitment to intensifying her work to address longstanding national issues.
According to Thai News Agency, the Pheu Thai governments have been actively addressing public concerns for more than a year, from the tenure of former Prime Minister Mr. Settha Thavisin to the current administration, which has been operational for about two months. Their initiatives, such as the Ten Thousand Baht Project and disaster relief efforts, have been key in tackling economic, social, and drug-related issues, leading to significant public satisfaction.
The recent “Suan Dusit Poll” results align with these efforts, indicating an increase in the Thai Political Index for October 2024 compared to September. The survey highlights Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra as the most prominent
government politician this month, with the public particularly appreciating the government’s response to the flood disaster.
Mr. Jirayu stated, ‘The government led by Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the people by implementing various measures, stimulating the economy through tourism, and advancing Thailand’s status on the global stage.’
