Police to Issue Arrest Warrants in ‘Lawyer Tum’ Fraud Case.

Bangkok: Police are preparing to issue arrest warrants for those involved in the ‘Lawyer Tum’ scam that defrauded ‘Madam Oi’. Initial estimates are that there will be around 1-2 people involved. They are rushing to conclude the case in order to issue a summons or arrest warrant soon. Pol. Lt. Col. Suwat Saengnum, deputy commander of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), revealed progress in the fraud case involving Ms. Chatuphon Ubonlert, or Madam Oi, and Mr. Sittra Biabangkerd, or Lawyer Tum, stating that there is currently no report from investigators regarding additional charges against Lawyer Tum in the case of 39 million baht. However, the case is under process.

According to Thai News Agency, the police are currently considering and collecting evidence to clearly identify who was involved in the crime or had intentions to be involved in the crime. Initially, it was found that there may be approximately 1-2 additional perpetrators. However, the number of perpetrators may change depending on the results
of the investigation.

Pol. Lt. Col. Suwat said that officers will quickly conclude the case to issue summons or arrest warrants for additional people involved soon and will proceed with strict legal procedures.
