Cha-Am: TAT serves colorful fun through Grand Festivity with the International Kite Festival @ Cha-Am (International Kite Festival 2025 at Cha-Am), Cha-Am, Phetchaburi Province. Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) organizes the International Kite Festival @ Cha-Am (International Kite Festival 2025 at Cha-Am) in Phetchaburi Province during 21-23 March 2025. Enjoy Thai kite performances and kites from many countries, showcasing the charm of Thailand through the Grand Festivity, hoping to create excitement for Thai tourism throughout the year. Pol. Lt. Phopchanok Chalanukroh, Governor of Phetchaburi Province, and Mrs. Jirawadee Khunthrap, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, TAT, joined in opening the event at Cha-Am Nuea Beach, Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province.

Kite Festival 2025 at Cha-Am). Cha-Am Beach, Phetchaburi Province, is a popular destination for both Thai and international tourists. It has the potential to accommodate tourists, whether it be hotels, restaurants, or many beautiful tourist attractions. The organization of the International Kite Festival @ Cha-Am will be an important driving force that will help attract and stimulate travel to Phetchaburi Province and nearby areas very well, helping to increase tourism spending and create economic circulation for tourism operators and the tourism industry in the area. In addition, tourists will receive a travel experience like never before, especially families, as it coincides with the summer school break, where parents can bring their children to experience kite flying up close.

TAT will create a fun atmosphere through the International Kite Festival @ Cha-am, presented under the concept of ‘KITETOPIA – The Kingdom of Kites’, a world of kites without limits, a kingdom of imagination, creativity and freedom, which is full of highlights of international kite shows from over 10 countries from all over the world, ready to present the charm of Thailand for tourists to experience.
TAT hopes that organizing this event will add value to products and develop tourism products from Thai wisdom, as well as stimulate travel by both Thai and foreign tourists, generate economic circulation in the area, and create charm for Thailand as a destination that tourists from all over the world want to visit.

See the exhibition of local Thai kites from 4 regions: Central region: Chula kite, puffer kite; Southern region: buffalo kite, peacock kite, torn tail kite; Northeastern region: two-room kite, dui dui kite; and Northern region: Phra Ruang kite, Phra Lue kite.
