Kuala lumpur: Thai Oil wins three awards for good corporate governance (CG) at the ASEAN level from the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard 2024. Thai Oil Public Company Limited announced that it received three awards from the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard Project 2024: Country Top 5 PLCs, ASEAN Top 50 PLCs, and ASEAN Asset Class PLCs. This is the third consecutive year that Thai Oil has received these awards. The ceremony was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to Thai News Agency, the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard Award is based on a survey of good corporate governance (CG) of listed companies in the ASEAN region, conducted by the ASEAN Capital Market Forum (ACMF), which comprises the Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC) of six ASEAN countries: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. It aims to recognize listed companies in ASEAN that are committed to applying good corporate governance principles in their business operations.
This award reflects Thai Oil's commitment to operating with transparency, ethics, and adherence to good corporate governance principles, which are a key foundation for building strength and sustainable growth.
