Beijing: The Thai national women’s volleyball team is rigorously preparing for their entry into the 2025 Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) under the leadership of head coach “Coach Oat” Kiattipong Rachata-kriangkrai. The team arrived at their hotel after leaving the Beijing Volleyball Club training center, where they were warmly greeted by Chinese volleyball fans who enthusiastically requested photos and autographs.
According to Thai News Agency, the Thai team engaged in a comprehensive fitness training session upon settling in. Led by players such as Ajcharaporn Kongyot, Pornpan Kerdprach, Piyanuch Pannoy, Thatdao Nuekjang, Pimpichaya Kokram, and Chatchu-on Moksri, the team focused on building muscle and enhancing their fitness levels. The training session lasted for one hour and thirty minutes before the team moved to the competition field located within the National Stadium, the same venue used during the 2008 Olympic Games.
In a press conference discussing the team’s readiness, Pornpan Kerdprach r
emarked on the frequent encounters between the Thai and Polish national teams. She noted the high caliber of the Polish team and the invaluable experience gained from these matches. ‘Every year, the Thai national team meets the Polish national team very often, and the Thai national team will try their best because Poland is a top team in the world. We always get valuable experience from Poland. What we get apart from playing techniques from Poland is mentality. Sometimes the Thai team does well, but sometimes there are mistakes that we have to learn from Poland,’ she stated.
