The flooding incident in the North caused by Tropical Storm Yagi has swept through Thailand, causing heavy rain for several days, including flash floods and mudslides in many areas of Nan, Phrae, Chiang Rai, and Chiang Mai provinces. Relevant government agencies and volunteers from all sectors have mobilized to help people in the affected areas and prepared measures to provide assistance and relief after the water recedes.
People who wish to donate money to help flood victims in the North can donate to the ‘Disaster Relief Fund of the Prime Minister’s Office’ at Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited, Government House Branch, Account Number 067-0-06895-0. Donations can be used as a tax deduction.
