Hanoi: President of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernandez is set to lead a delegation to Vietnam for a working visit from November 2-3. The visit comes at the invitation of National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man, as stated in an announcement by the NA’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit by Esteban Lazo Hernandez aims to strengthen the bilateral relations between Cuba and Vietnam, focusing on enhancing legislative cooperation and exploring opportunities for mutual development. The delegation is expected to engage in discussions with Vietnamese counterparts to address various aspects of cooperation, including trade and cultural exchanges.
