Mr. Pornchai Thiravet, Director-General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, disclosed the progress of the money transfer under the economic stimulus project for 2024 through state welfare cardholders and disabled persons (the project),

which the Ministry of Finance, through the Comptroller General’s Department, has transferred money to the target group since 25 September 2024 onwards.

The Finance Ministry spokesman said that the money transfer on September 27, 2024 to 4.51 million state welfare cardholders whose national ID numbers end with 4-7, found that 129,373 of them were unsuccessful, bringing the cumulative total of successful money transfers to the target group to 11.86 million, and the total number of unsuccessful transfers to 319,8180.

Overall, the reasons for failed money transfers
for each target group are as follows:

2. People with state welfare cards, such as not having linked their PromptPay account with their national ID number, inactive accounts, bank accounts being closed, bank account numbers being incorrect, etc.

Therefore, we would like to inform those who have the right to link their PromptPay accounts with their national ID numbers or contact the bank to fix the bank accounts with the above problems by October 18, 2024 in order to receive the repeated payment within October 22, 2024.

In addition, for approximately 90,000 disabled people whose disabled ID cards have expired or whose disabled ID card information is incomplete, who have not yet received the money transfer on September 25, 2024, it is recommended that they renew their disabled ID cards, make disabled ID cards, or correct their disabled ID information at disabled service centers nationwide by October 10, 2024,
in order to receive the redemption payment in time by October 22, 2024.
