\nBangkok: The Royal Thai Army has declared its commitment to an impartial investigation in the case involving the Director of the Army Education Department, who is accused of assaulting subordinates. The Army has emphasized that there will be no protection or exceptions for the accused, reflecting the policy of the Army Commander to uphold human rights and the law against torture.<\/p>\n

According to Thai News Agency, Army spokesman Colonel Thitrach Sombatsiri has reiterated the Army’s stance on this matter, highlighting that the investigation must be thorough and fair to all parties involved. The complaint was filed with the Military Committee against Lieutenant General Narong Suankaew, leading to the establishment of a fact-finding committee. The Army is committed to ensuring that the policy against physical assault is strictly enforced, with no exceptions granted based on rank.<\/p>\n
