Jakarta (ANTARA) – President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) underlined that Indonesia continues to improve welfare and accessibility for persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n
“Indonesia already has a National Commission for Disabilities and has also issued a number of Government Regulations and Presidential Regulations that reflect the spirit to continue to improve welfare, opportunities, and accessibility for persons with disabilities,” the president stated on his Instagram account @jokowi on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The head of state noted that advanced development is one involving, taking into account, and also providing access for all people without exception.<\/p>\n
In his upload on his Instagram account, the head of state included an illustration depicting people with disabilities continuing to work and achieve, with the president being among them.<\/p>\n
In the upload, the president wished Happy International Day of Disabilities 2022 to persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n

This commemoration aims to develop public insight into several issues related to the lives of persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n
