Another victim of a former celebrity scammed by selling fake brand names has surfaced.

Another victim has been scammed by a former celebrity and internet idol into buying brand name bags and luxury watches. In the end, it was found that they were all fakes, resulting in a total loss of almost 2 million baht.

Mr. Chotianan Lertritphuwanon or Sia Pe Bang Kruai, the chairman of the volunteers and founder of the page ‘Nonthaburi Never Abandon Each Other’, along with a team of lawyers, traveled to the house of Barami Sak Lueai Setthi Achan Ying, Tambon Bang Khu Rat, Amphoe Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi Province, to meet Ms. Duangporn Suphanam or Achan Ying, age 46, a fortune teller who tattoos the hands of a millionaire, who recommended that her students who came to have their fortunes told bring their brand name bags and luxury watches to sell to Ms. Thanitta, age 42, a self-employed businesswoman who buys and sells brand name bags.

The news team told the young woman that the female teacher recommended added the shop’s Line and asked about selling branded bags. The first time, she sent 1 bag. After
that, the young woman tried to rush the shop to transfer the money. In the evening of the same day, the young woman contacted her again and sent 2 more bags, asking if they would accept more bags as pawn. She claimed that she had to travel abroad and needed the money. She wanted to transfer the money right away. However, the shop asked for permission to check the items first. However, the young woman claimed that she had taken all the bags to a branded bag shop that she knew well. Therefore, she was careless and did not check the branded bags. The shop asked the young woman to sign a document stating that “the bag in question is genuine” and attached a copy of her ID card. She then found out that she was a celebrity or internet idol, so she decided to transfer her another 100,000 baht. The next day, she went to check the bags and found that both the material of the bag and the card were abnormal. She tried to contact the young woman, but she could not contact her at all. Therefore, she went to file a police r
eport and recorded the incident.

Later, the young woman contacted back to say that she was abroad and could not be contacted, but on the young woman’s IG, she still lives in Thailand. In addition, she also learned from friends in a group selling brand name bags that this young woman had tricked her into buying bags many times. The total value of her damages, the three bags, was 162,000 baht, but when combined with the other victims, the total value was more than 2 million baht. She has now filed a complaint and is in the process of issuing a summons.

Sia Pe Bang Kruai said that the incident was reported by a female teacher because he was a student of the teacher. He knew that a female celebrity and influencer had sent him a brand-name bag on Line to sell and pawn, totaling in the millions of baht. Until he checked and found that the items that were pawned, both the watch and the bag, were fake. He went to check the history of this female celebrity and found that she already had a fraud case. He saw that the
re were many victims in this case and needed help, so he recommended Lawyer Wai to help the victims today.

Lawyer Chawin Thawatcharaporn revealed that this offender has been reported to the police in several areas and police stations, and that the offenses are similar. The young woman was arrested before, but negotiated with the victim to pay compensation, so it was not a lawsuit. This made the young woman feel encouraged and took the documents she received from the victim, stating that the bag was fake, forged documents stating that the bag was genuine, and then did the same thing, which was to sell it or pawn it.
