Bangkok: “Anusorn” expressed gratitude towards the parliament and coalition parties for their support in passing the 2026 fiscal year budget. Mr. Anusorn Eiamsa-ard, a party-list MP from the Pheu Thai Party, addressed the recent vote in the House of Representatives, which saw the draft budget bill for fiscal year 2026, worth 3.78 trillion baht, accepted with 322 votes in favor and 158 against.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anusorn took the opportunity to thank both government and opposition members for their participation in the four-day debate during the first reading of the budget bill. He extended special thanks to MPs from coalition parties for their overwhelming support. The voting results, he noted, signify the government’s strong and stable position, contrary to earlier reports suggesting potential rejection by some coalition parties. The successful vote is seen as evidence that the administration, under Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, remains capable of steering the nation forward.
Mr. Anusorn emphasized that the 2026 budget marks the third year under the Pheu Thai Party’s management, assuring that all proposals would be evaluated for value, transparency, and accountability. He stressed the importance of efficient budget management to maximize benefits for the country and its citizens, ensuring that corruption is avoided and the work of government departments is effectively driven.
