Anutin Meets Prime Minister Yingluck Amid Cabinet Reshuffle Speculations

Bangkok: “Anutin” climbs up Thai Khu Fah building to talk to “Paethongtarn” to report on work after visiting the area, says whether to discuss cabinet reshuffle or not depends on the Prime Minister.

According to Thai News Agency, reporters at Government House noted that at 2:55 p.m., Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, ascended the Thai Khu Fah Building to meet with Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra. This meeting followed Mr. Anutin’s interview with the media, where he expressed his desire to discuss certain matters with the Prime Minister. The meeting takes place amidst ongoing discussions about a potential cabinet position swap and the stance of the Bhumjaithai Party, which is scheduled to hold a meeting with its MPs this evening.

Mr. Anutin shared that his meeting with the Prime Minister was intended to report on his recent visit to Ubon Ratchathani Province, where he aimed to support officials and citizens. He emphasized that any discussions regarding a cabinet reshuffle would be contingent on the Prime Minister’s decision.

When questioned about whether the Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai parties had reached an agreement, Mr. Anutin clarified that no discussions had taken place between the parties, only with the Prime Minister. In response to whether a conversation could occur today, Mr. Anutin remarked, ‘It’s up to you.’
