Arrest of woman who stole from 5 convenience stores

Metropolitan Police Bureau and Investigation Division 115 arrested a woman who robbed convenience stores, committing the crime with her friends at more than 5 branches.

Police officers arrested Ms. Monthita, age 20, a suspect with 5 arrest warrants, along with 2 others, for jointly stealing from a convenience store in the Tao Poon Police Station area at night. An inspection of other nearby branches revealed that the same suspect and his friends had been stealing from 4 other branches in the same manner, for a total of 5 branches.

Later, the arresting police officers were assigned to investigate and track down the person with the arrest warrant until they found out that Ms. Montita, the person with the arrest warrant, had fled and was staying in a room on the 2nd floor of a hotel in Wat Sommanas Subdistrict, Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, Bangkok. The investigation police officers therefore traveled to inspect the hotel. Later, they found Ms. Montita, the person with the arrest warrant, standing in front of
the hotel. The arresting police officers therefore identified themselves and made the arrest, informed her of her rights and charges, and proceeded with legal action.

During the arrest, the suspect confessed to all charges. He is currently not working. There is a history of being convicted and was prosecuted at Taling Chan Police Station for theft. He is currently on probation. Therefore, an arrest record was made and the suspect was taken to the responsible investigation officer at Tao Poon Police Station for further legal action.
