The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Mekong River Commission (MRC) kicked off the second round of talks on water security in Vientiane, Laos, on September 18. A Vietnamese delegation led by Chief of the Standing Office of the Vietnam Mekong River Commission Nguyen Thi Thu Linh attended the event.
