BAAC organizes the biggest running event of the year, BAAC Charity Run 3rd 2024, with a total prize money of over 1 million baht.
BAAC celebrates its 59th anniversary by organizing a grand running event ‘BAAC Charity Run 3rd 2024’, open for registration for both the 5 km Fun Run and the 10.5 km Mini Marathon, competing for prizes worth over 1 million baht. Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, Manager of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), revealed that BAAC is organizing a major running event of the year, BAAC Charity Run 3rd 2024, to celebrate the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the bank’s founding on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at BAAC Head Office, Bang Khen, Bangkok. Applications are open for two distances: the 5-kilometer Fun Run and the 10.5-kilometer Mini Marathon. The application fee is 600 baht, and the VIP application fee is 1,000
baht. You will also receive souvenirs from BAAC, such as running shirts, BIBs, magnet shoulder bags, and umbrella hats.
For the 10.5 km race, it is divided into 5 age groups for male and female: 1) Under 29 years old 2) 30-39 years old 3) 40-49 years old 4) 50-59 years old and 5) 60 years old and over. The male and female runners who cross the finish line in 1st place will receive an Overall prize of 100,000 baht and a Champion robe (winners of this prize are not eligible for prizes in their age group). The finishers in each age group will receive a First Prize of 30,000 baht, Second Place 20,000 baht and Third Place 10,000 baht. In addition, there are 10 fancy running prizes, each worth 5,000 baht, for those who design the most creative costumes and impress the judges. By informing of the registration to join the Fancy Running Contest on the day of the event, 30 minutes before the race, in which the runners must run the full distance registered (Fun Run, Mini Marathon), but speed and order of reaching the f
inish line will not be considered. All runners who reach the finish line will receive a special commemorative medal from BAAC. And for the first 100 runners of 10.5 km. to reach the finish line will also receive a special Finisher cloth. Other conditions are as determined by the bank.
In organizing this event, BAAC aims to encourage employees nationwide to exercise to promote good health. Therefore, special prizes are provided only for employees who register to join the 10.5 km race, divided into 4 groups for men and women: 1) Under 29 years old, 2) 30-39 years old, 3) 40-49 years old, and 4) 50-59 years old. There is an Overall male and female prize worth 30,000 baht, and the winner of each age group is worth 15,000 baht. 2nd – 6th place is worth 10,000 baht each, and 7th – 16th place is worth 5,000 baht each.
