Bhumibol Dam Releases 55 Million Cubic Meters of Water Daily Amid High Reservoir Levels

Tak: Bhumibol Dam continues to release 55 million cubic meters of water per day, with adjustments to be made as appropriate to the water situation. The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand reported the water situation in the Bhumibol Dam reservoir on Saturday, November 15, 2025, stating that the Bhumibol Dam currently has a water volume of 13,393.55 million cubic meters, or 99.49%. The water volume available for use is 9,593.55 million cubic meters, or 99.29%. Yesterday, there was a water flow into the reservoir of 49.71 million cubic meters, which can hold another 68.45 million cubic meters, or 0.51%, and the water level of the reservoir is 259.78 meters above mean sea level.

According to Thai News Agency, from today onwards, the Bhumibol Dam will release water according to the Royal Irrigation Department’s plan of 55 million cubic meters per day. The situation will be monitored and assessed, and adjustments will be made as appropriate to the water situation.
