“Big Joke” confirms readiness to accept the decision of the National Police Commission to decide the fate of the police.

Police, ‘Big Joke’ explains everything, ready to accept the decision of the Police Commission to decide the fate of the police. If the result is negative, proceed to file a complaint with the Supreme Administrative Court.

Pol. Gen. Surachet Hakpal, deputy national police chief, revealed after submitting documents and giving an oral explanation to the Police Ethics Protection Committee (PEPC) regarding the appeal of the wrongful dismissal order, which took more than 2 hours, that today he had already explained all the details to the committee completely and completely. It was considered to be in accordance with the legal process and the new Police Act of 2022, which was stipulated. After this, he will wait for the committee to make a decision and will not be bothered by the results.

Pol. Gen. Surachet confirmed that after this, if the committee’s decision is negative or positive, he is ready to accept it. However, if the result is negative, he will exercise his right to file a lawsuit with the Supreme Admin
istrative Court to request that the court issue an order to protect his status as a police officer and consider revoking the order to dismiss him from civil service first. He will file a lawsuit on every issue that the law allows, but he cannot file a lawsuit with the Administrative Court until the decision is made. He emphasized that if the result is positive, he will be able to return to work at the Royal Thai Police and will not file a lawsuit against anyone as he previously stated.

However, the time frame for the committee’s decision is still unknown, but the committee will send the decision results to the hometown and will be received by themselves. As for whether the consideration results will be completed before the nomination for the selection of the new national police chief in September, it is unknown. It depends on the Police Commission.

For the two-hour verbal explanation to the committee today, Pol. Gen. Surachet admitted that he met Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet, deputy national police chief, the
other party, but did not greet, talk or make eye contact because each person was explaining. As for the committee, there were no further questions because their duty was to listen only.

Pol. Gen. Surachet admitted that he had missed the Royal Thai Police for the past 4-5 months, but he was not sure whether he would return or not. Right now, he was only focusing on whether he would return or not. He had not thought about anything else, especially regarding the astrologer’s prediction that there would be a change in leadership in August and rumors that he would become the Minister in charge of the Royal Thai Police. He had not heard of the news yet. The same goes for the case of changing his name by adding another letter ‘?.’ It was for good luck, because the astrologer had warned him about this a long time ago, when he was helping out at the Prime Minister’s Office. However, he did not have the opportunity at that time. The name and meaning remain the same.
