Bangkok: BKS is urging people to book their travel tickets in advance to accommodate the upcoming long holiday periods in July 2025. The company assures travelers of available tickets for homebound journeys and is set to deploy sufficient buses and trips to provide convenient and safe service on all routes.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chatchawan Promratham, Director and Acting Managing Director of Transport Co., Ltd. (BKS), announced that July 2025 will feature two consecutive holiday periods. The first is from July 10-13, coinciding with Asalha Bucha Day and Khao Phansa Day, and the second from July 26-28 for His Majesty the King’s Birthday.

Mr. Chatchawan emphasized that these preparations are designed to ensure smooth travel experiences and to align with the Ministry of Transport’s policy of leaving no passengers stranded. BKS has made arrangements to meet travel demands with an adequate supply of buses.

The public is invited to book tickets in advance through various online platforms, including
the Transport Company’s website, E-ticket Application, Facebook Page, and Line, as well as at ticket counters nationwide. A 10% fare discount is available for passengers purchasing round-trip tickets on the same route.

BKS anticipates an average daily flow of 90,000-100,000 passengers during the holidays, utilizing approximately 6,000-7,000 bus trips per day. The company is committed to ensuring the safety and reliability of its services. All buses are inspected for safety, drivers are required to rest adequately, and drug and alcohol tests are mandatory with zero tolerance. Additionally, two drivers are assigned for journeys exceeding four hours, and passengers are urged to wear seatbelts throughout the trip for their safety.
