Bangkok: The 19th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding Championships and the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships are set to take place at the Alexander Hotel in Huamark.
According to Thai News Agency, the events will be held from August 21-24, 2025, featuring a total of 17 and 50 events respectively. The Southeast Asian Championships will occur on August 21, while the Asian Championships will be held from December 22-24, 2025.
The 19th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding Championships are serving as a substitute for the bodybuilding event omitted from the 33rd SEA Games. This competition will have one day of events on August 21, with qualifying rounds starting at 9:30 a.m. and the finals at 4:00 p.m. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on the same day.
As for the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, the qualifying rounds will commence at 9:00 a.m. on August 22, with the finals occurring at 4:00 p.m. The opening ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. on August 23, and the finals will conclude with a session starting at 5:00 p.m. on August 24.
In total, 44 Thai athletes will compete in these two prestigious events. For the Southeast Asian Championships, 13 Thai athletes, including names such as Kasem Rattanaporn and Kanokorn Thong-o, will participate. The Asian Championships will see 31 Thai athletes, featuring competitors like Natthanon Maosem and Jiratha Jutanichkan.
Additional athletes may join the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, as winners from the Southeast Asian Championships will earn the right to compete further. Coaches Chamnan Saendee, Suwarot Rekhachalemphat, and Wisanu Rangdee will guide the Thai athletes during these championships.
