Cabinet Approves Budget Framework for 33rd SEA Games and 13th ASEAN Para Games

Bangkok: The cabinet has given the green light for a budget framework dedicated to hosting the prestigious 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games in Thailand, with a total allocation of 2,055 million baht.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anukul Prueksanusak, the deputy government spokesman, announced the cabinet’s approval, detailing that the 33rd SEA Games will take place from December 9 to December 20, 2025, across several locations including Bangkok, Chonburi, and Songkhla provinces. The 13th ASEAN Para Games are scheduled to follow from January 20 to January 26, 2026, in Nakhon Ratchasima and Bangkok.

The cabinet’s decision also includes the authorization for provinces and local administrative organizations (LAOs) to actively participate in the organization of these events. This participation may involve financial support or the execution of specific activities as requested by the organizing committee of both the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games.
