Cabinet Meeting Postponed for Royal Event at Government House

Bangkok: This Tuesday, 29 July, the Cabinet meeting will be postponed to 1:00 p.m.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Jirayu Huangtrakul, spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office, announced that the Cabinet Secretariat has scheduled the postponement of Cabinet meeting No. 30/2025 to 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in Meeting Room 501, Command Building 1, 5th floor, Government House.

On the morning of the same day at 10.00 a.m., Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, acting as Prime Minister, will welcome His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen for the royal merit-making ceremony at the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.

Later in the evening at 19.00 hrs., Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai will also welcome Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the Royal Jubilee Club. The event is in honor of His Majesty the King’s Birthday Anniversary, which is celebrated on 28 July 2025, at Government House.

The government is inviting Thai citizens to watch the club’s event in honor of the King’s birthday on 28 July 2025 on the TV Group of Thailand from 7:00 p.m. onwards. Citizens are also encouraged to wear yellow shirts in this auspicious month from Monday 28 July 2025 to Friday 1 August 2025.
