According to Thai News Agency, Central Group, in collaboration with Central Retail and Central Pattana, has curated a diverse collection of goods for display and sale by genuine farmers and local communities. This event, themed ‘Truth in the Heart of the City From Roots to Radiance’, aims to highlight the authenticity and sincerity of the villagers, showcasing seasonal vegetables, local delicacies, and traditional wisdom in a vibrant, contemporary style. The festival transforms CentralWorld shopping mall into a sustainable ‘metropolis of sincerity’.
Attendees can explore an impressive lineup of products representing over 50 communities from 47 provinces across Thailand. This includes export-quality melons from Ayutthaya’s Smile Melon Garden, organic sweet potatoes from Mae Ta, Chiang Mai, pumpkin mooncakes from Mae Kamnan, Nan, and egg tarts from Nong Sanit, Surin. Additionally, visitors can enjoy avocado smoothies mixed with strawberries from Suan Thep Na, Chaiyaphum, crab noodles from Chaiyaphum, Suan Salui curry rice from Nonthaburi, as well as exquisite handicrafts like Tai Lue woven fabric from Ban Lai Thung, Nan, and Na Muen Si woven fabric from Trang. The event also features a community product zone from Tops, Go Wholesale, Thai Watsadu, and Good Goods.
The festival includes a variety of heartwarming activities, such as a workshop on crafting keychains from recycled plastic by Wat Jak Daeng, massages by the visually impaired, drawings by autistic child artists, and a mini-concert by Spicydisc artists. Partners like the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Sustainable Tourism Area Development Administration, Thailand Post, AIS, Gracz, and CHITOSE will also have booths presenting knowledge, products, and services.
‘Jingjai Maha Nakhon’ reinforces its commitment to sustainability by hosting a Carbon Neutral Event, featuring decorations made from recycled materials, eco-friendly packaging, and comprehensive waste separation.
