The goal of the cooperation is to integrate and optimize resources management efficiently and effectively to support regional development and the people’s welfare.
Palu, C Sulawesi Central Sulawesi and West Java provinces have established cooperation for developing their local potential to bolster their development.
The cooperation would include development in food, micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME), logistics, human resources improvement, and public service sectors.
“Thank you to the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, and his ranks for wanting to cooperate with the Central Sulawesi provincial government,” Central Sulawesi Governor Rusdy Mastura remarked here on Saturday.
Mastura made a working visit to West Java and met Kamil on Friday (January 20, 2023) after meeting with Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD, in Jakarta.
He said that Central Sulawesi is a developing province, supported by a regional budget (APBD) of more than Rp4 trillion and regional original revenue (PAD) of Rp1.3 trillion.
The province is aspiring to bring benefits to the community from its rich natural resources in the agricultural, mining, maritime and fisheries, and animal husbandry sectors.
“Therefore, we need cooperation that synergizes development programs, and covers each region’s lackings,” Mastura explained.
He said that this goal must be supported by human resources, including the state civil apparatus (ASN), by promoting regional development and optimizing public services.
“The goal of the cooperation is to integrate and optimize resources management efficiently and effectively to support regional development and the people’s welfare,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Governor Kamil said he expected that the Central Sulawesi provincial government would open opportunities for West Java investors to open and grow businesses in Central Sulawesi.
He expressed the hope that the agreement signing would bring benefits to both regions and the welfare of the people.
In addition, he said he is looking forward to realizing the cooperation into more concrete and impactful programs through continuous learning.
