Chachoengsao rescue workers braved the strong currents to help flood victims in Chiang Mai who were unable to leave their homes. Villagers were moved to tears when they saw rescuers coming to help.

The efforts of the Chachoengsao rescue unit at Bang Khla point attempted to brave the water current to help villagers in the area of ??7 Rat Uthit Soi 8 and other alleys in Tambon Wat Ko Ket and in the area of ??the parallel road, Sai Sai Road, Amphoe Mae Rim, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province, by using water tactics to deliver relief bags to those affected by the flood and gradually bring the victims out of the area. Among them, there were disabled people who lost their legs and could not help themselves stuck inside the house. The rescue workers went in to carry the disabled people through the rather strong water current out of the house. Some houses also had small children and bedridden elderly people.

People living in damaged houses said that the current was very strong and fast. The water level was almos
t up to their heads. They had to find something to hold on to. The electricity was also cut off. They had to live in the dark and be careful of the water level. They waited anxiously and with hope for help from the authorities. When they saw the rescue workers coming to help, they felt happy and moved to tears. They thanked them for not abandoning them.
