‘Chai Chana’ leads the National Police Commission to inspect the ‘Huai Khwang-Ratchada’ area.

“Chaichana” leads the National Police Commission, along with relevant agencies, to inspect the “Huai Khwang-Ratchada” area, finding many illegal activities! Believes that Thai people do not want to see Chinese mafia take over the city.

Mr. Chaichana Dechacho, Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party and Chairman of the House of Representatives Police Committee, led a group to Ratchada and RCA area, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok to listen to the opinions of business operators and observe the work of officers in inspecting and complying with the law of entertainment venues, together with representatives of various agencies, including the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Immigration Bureau, Metropolitan Police Division 1, Metropolitan Police Division 2, Makkasan Metropolitan Police Station, Din Daeng Metropolitan Police Station, Huai Khwang Metropolitan Police Station, Sutthisan Metropolitan Police Station, Bangkok, and the Food and Drug Administration.

Mr. Chaichana, as the chairman of the House of Representatives Police Commission, said while inspecting the area that he had received complaints from the public that there were groups of Chinese people operating illegal businesses, creating unrest in the community. Today, he came to visit the area. The first place he went to was the Chongqing Shabu restaurant, which has a total of 5 shareholders with a registered capital of 18 million baht. The major shareholder is a woman from Ubon Ratchathani and there are 4 other Chinese shareholders. He questioned why the Shabu restaurant has a registered capital of 18 million baht and the major shareholder is only 33 years old. The Police Commission must investigate whether it is a real shareholder or a nominee. The Police Commission will go to the area to investigate whether they really exist or not. What will happen next? As for the 4 Chinese people who hold shares, they must check whether their investment visas in Thailand are valid or not. The investors who registere
d capital of 18 million baht have paid taxes to Thailand or not.

There is also a case of requesting permission to build or expand a building, whether it is in accordance with the request for permission from Bangkok or not. If it is not correct, the district director must immediately suspend it. From the inspection, it was also found that the area has been expanded. It was also found that the shop sells alcohol, both illegally and legally, which has been assigned to the Excise Department to investigate further. There are no Thai products in the shop. In this case, Thailand loses its trade because no Thai products are used at all. Therefore, the policy of this government must seriously inspect that when there are investors coming to trade in the country, Thailand is willing to let foreigners invest, but they must respect Thai laws.

The chairman of the Police Commission reiterated that if this matter is not taken seriously, it cannot be solved. He would like to ask some government officials who collude with the Chinese gray capital group to stop this behavior. He has complete information on the wrongdoings, including the financial trail. He asks that this behavior be stopped. We have never prevented foreigners from investing in Thailand. However, if they do invest, they must also do so in accordance with Thai law.

After that, the group went to inspect the Wang Zhong Wang store, which is a store that sells imported goods from China. It was found that the registered capital was 4 million baht and that there were many products that did not pass the FDA. After this, the responsible agencies will work with the FDA to prosecute products that did not pass the FDA. As the legislative branch, the House of Representatives Police Committee will bring this matter to the parliament for discussion to enact a law that in the future, if a second offense is committed, the second time should be punished with imprisonment or the license to sell goods should be revoked because currently, the only loophole is a fine.

The third point is a spa and massage shop with a registered capital of 2 million baht. From the inspection, it was noted that all the building extensions had permission from the BMA or not. The fire escape used the normal route up and down, which was not safe for the service users. Therefore, the BMA and Sutthisan Police Station were ordered to coordinate with the business operators to improve the fire escape. In addition, on the 3rd floor of the building, the staff reported that it was not in use. However, when going up, they found an old bar with chairs similar to those in a casino and it looked like it was in normal use. They also found a locked room with the air conditioner on, but the staff could not enter. The staff reported that they did not have the authority to make a decision. Therefore, the Police Commission coordinated with Sutthisan Police Station to inspect the room to see if anything unusual was found.
