Chonburi: A Chinese man was found shot and seriously injured in a rented house in the Khao Makok area, Soi Chaiyaphruek, Chonburi Province. Mr. Yang, 26, suffered a gunshot wound to his right ankle, which penetrated the bone and left him with a deformed leg. He was discovered in the living room, breathing weakly, and received first aid from two friends before being transported to the hospital by rescue workers.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident took place in a single-story house, where bloodstains were visible at the front gate and traces of blood were found leading into the house. The police responded promptly, with over 20 officers surrounding the area to capture the gunman, who attempted to flee through the back of the house into a nearby residential area. The police successfully apprehended the suspect after a 30-minute standoff.
