Move Forward Party, “Cho Pannika” believes that the Move Forward Party has a backup plan to dissolve or not dissolve the party. She stated that if it is dissolved, it will not take long to move forward. She emphasized that the work will not be interrupted.
Ms. Pannika Wanich, a leader of the Progressive Movement, revealed after traveling to the Move Forward Party office in the Future Forward Building, Ramkhamhaeng 42, that for the Move Forward Party’s activities today, the first program will start at 1:00 p.m. onwards. Mr. Piyabutr Saengkanokkul, the secretary-general of the Progressive Movement, will give a lecture on the topic of “The Constitutional Court and the Dissolution of Political Parties”. There will be an opportunity for questions until the Constitutional Court makes a ruling. After that, Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, the chairman of the Progressive Movement’s advisory board, will hold a press conference at the party at 6:00 p.m. before giving a speech to the people who came to listen to the ruling, whi
ch is scheduled to finish at approximately 9:00 p.m.
Ms. Pannika also mentioned her feelings about the dissolution of the Future Forward Party, which led to the consideration of the dissolution of the Move Forward Party today. She said that her first feeling was resentment because our dream and desire was to establish a political party that would make Thailand equal and bring Thailand to catch up with the world with equality. The highest power lies with the people, which is not an extreme or ambitious dream. Many countries in the world can do it. But for Thailand, a group of people rose up to establish a political party and the number of people who agreed with the same idea increased from 6 million to 14 million people. Therefore, she questioned why it was allowed to happen and permission had to be requested. The resentment was not because the party was dissolved, but a feeling of pent-up frustration, why we could not do it and had to ask permission from someone.
As for the Move Forward Party’s exit plan, M
s. Pannika said that she must ask the Move Forward Party. However, as someone who had her party dissolved before, she believes that the Move Forward Party has prepared for every case. If the Move Forward Party is not dissolved, it will move forward with great ambition and will spread its wings forward, using all of its time to benefit the people. However, if it is dissolved, she believes that it will not take long to move forward and will be able to continue working immediately. And the work will not be interrupted.
Ms. Pannika also said that she personally did not need to give Mr. Pita encouragement in his trip to the Constitutional Court today because everyone had to do their own duty. If they believed that the Move Forward Party was doing the right thing, there was no need to give any encouragement. However, she thanked the people for giving encouragement to the party, which was considered confirmation that this country belongs to everyone and the highest power belongs to the people.
