3 victims complained to Sai Mai Must Survive after a drug addict who could not find his girlfriend dragged a 15-year-old boy to beat and rape the victim after misunderstanding that the group of men had helped his girlfriend escape. They boasted that they knew the local police and no one could do anything.
The victim recounted the incident that in the morning of September 27, Mr. A, 20 years old (assumed name), rode a motorcycle to send Ms. B, 20 years old (assumed name), his girlfriend, to work. When he returned to his room in Soi Paekong, he saw that there had been a motorcycle accident. The man was unconscious and injured. He was later identified as Mr. Taen, 37 years old. The woman who was riding pillion was later identified as Ms. Hong. He went to ask Mr. A for help to ride his motorcycle to the scene of the accident. After that, everything seemed to be over. But it turned out that the next day, Mr. Taen posted on Facebook to the effect that he would give him 3 days to hunt down the person who had taken
his girlfriend away.
The victim said that later on the night of September 29, Mr. Taen knocked on her door and shouted asking where her boyfriend, Hong, was. Then the maid called the police to come in. Mr. Taen escaped, causing the victim to file a police report as evidence at Bang Lamung Police Station because she was afraid that he would be physically harmed. When she returned to her room, within 5 minutes, Mr. Taen came back and knocked on the door again. The victim and her girlfriend decided to ride a motorcycle to look for Ms. Hong, Mr. Taen’s girlfriend, before taking Mr. A to the house of an acquaintance in Soi Naklua 3. Mr. Taen stayed with Ms. B. The two of them went to look for Ms. Hong until they reached Soi Thepprasit 11, where they met Mr. C (assumed name), a 15-year-old male youth. Mr. Taen misunderstood that his girlfriend had run away to live with Mr. C because they knew each other. Mr. C insisted that he did not know anything, but Mr. Taen would not listen, so he dragged him outside. He bega
n to physically assault Mr. C, kicking and punching him, causing his eye socket to be bruised and his head to swell. Mr. Taen then physically assaulted him twice.
The victim said that before taking Ms. B and Mr. C to a hotel in Soi Nong Yai 4 to gather and use drugs, Mr. Tan later took both of them to a resort in the Nong Prue area and forced and threatened Mr. C to make drug paraphernalia in the bathroom and raped Ms. B before releasing her the next morning. Villagers found him and helped him before taking him to file a complaint at Nong Prue Police Station on September 29. It has been a week now, but the case has not progressed. The victim still saw Mr. Tan wandering around the alley and threatening and harassing all the victims.
Mr. A revealed that after learning that his girlfriend was raped, he tried to take action against Mr. Taen, but was assaulted again by Mr. Taen, who hit her on the head with a stick, causing a cut that required three stitches, and threatened her not to press charges or report the
case, claiming that he knew local police officers.
Mr. Ekkapop Lueangprasert, advisor to the Minister of Interior and founder of the Sai Mai Must Survive page, revealed that after this, he will coordinate with the superintendent of Nong Prue Police Station and Bang Lamung Police Station to expedite the case and prosecute Mr. Taen because he is considered to have a dangerous behavior towards the victim. He is a big shot in that area, causing everyone to be afraid. He will go to the area to follow up on the progress of the case within the next week. From coordinating with the police, it is known that they will expedite the issuance of an arrest warrant today. In 2023, Mr. Taen has a history of rape cases.
