Sisaket: The Commander of Army Region 2 is set to announce the results of the Thailand-Cambodia Regional Border Committee (RBC) meeting at a press conference scheduled at the Chong Sangam Customs Checkpoint in Sisaket Province. The meeting, considered high-risk, has restricted media and public access.
According to Thai News Agency, military personnel are actively preparing for the press conference. Security measures are in place due to the sensitive nature of the discussions. The RBC meeting, which took place earlier in the day, was co-chaired by Lieutenant General Boonsin Phadklang, Commander of the 2nd Army Area, and General Pov Heng, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army and Commander of the 4th Military Region.
The meeting included significant discussions led by the Secretariat, with representatives from both the 2nd Army Area and the 4th Military Region in attendance. The local villagers are hopeful for a favorable outcome, particularly in relation to the ceasefire agreement for their safety
