According to Thai News Agency, Mrs. Pornanong Busaratrakul, Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), revealed the opening of the special sale of investment units of the Thai Sustainable Mutual Fund (Thai ESGX) on May 2, 2025, and the opening for unitholders of the Long-Term Equity Fund (LTF) to switch to Thai ESGX from May 13, 2025, which found that there was continuous interest from investors. Data from the Association of Investment Management Companies (AIMC) also found that investors aged 41-60 were the main group investing in Thai ESGX, both in the form of switching from LTF and new investments.

In addition, from the data on the use of the LTF investment information display service on the Stock Exchange of Thailand website (www.set.or.th/th/ltf), it was found that in the past, more than 20,000 investors have come to check their LTF unit holding data (data as of June 9, 2025), which indicates their interest in using the benefits supported by the state under the Thai ESGX measures.

For investment in Thai ESGX by switching from LTF, investors must switch all LTF units they hold, in all funds in all asset management companies, and in accordance with the conditions set by the government.
