Bangkok: The Thai Arts and Crafts Promotion Institute is gearing up to host Craft Bangkok 2025 from June 18 to 22 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event promises to be a vibrant celebration of traditional and contemporary handicrafts, highlighting the theme “Weaving Past to the Future,” which aims to connect generations through the art of craft.
According to Thai News Agency, Asst. Prof. Dr. Anucha Thirakanon, Director of the Thai Arts and Crafts Promotion Institute (Public Organization), has revealed exciting details about Craft Bangkok 2025, also known as the Thai Handicraft Fair. The event will feature a diverse range of activities and exhibitions designed to engage attendees in the rich tradition of Thai handicrafts while incorporating modern innovations.
The fair will include a variety of attractions, such as the sale of products from the Support Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, and the opportunity to purchase unique handicrafts from over 300 booths. Visitors can also explore a research and product development exhibition by the Support Institute of Thai Arts and Crafts. The event aims to provide an immersive experience, allowing attendees to learn about the charm of the community through exhibitions that promote an understanding of handicrafts.
Additional highlights include creative works from “New Young Craft 2025,” featuring ten talented individuals selected from across Thailand. For the first time, the SACIT Concept 2025 and SACIT Collection will present handicrafts in the form of Art toys. The exhibition will also showcase international handicrafts from countries such as Saudi Arabia and Japan.
The event will host discussions that offer insights and knowledge-sharing opportunities with experts in the Thai handicraft industry. Craft enthusiasts, particularly those interested in handmade fashion and environmentally friendly products, are encouraged not to miss this event. Craft Bangkok 2025 will take place at Hall 5 of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
