DDPM mobilizes to help restore Chiang Rai at full capacity


The DDPM operation team mobilized personnel and disaster relief machinery from 4 regional DDPM centers to urgently alleviate the suffering of people affected by the flood and restore the areas of Mae Sai and Mueang Districts, Chiang Rai Province.

During the operation between 11-12 October 2014, the DDPM operation teams from the DDPM regional centers coordinated forces to carry out missions in various areas as follows: Yesterday, the DDPM operation teams from DDPM Region 4 Prachuap Khiri Khan, 8 Kamphaeng Phet, 10 Lampang, and 15 Chiang Rai jointly brought tractors with trailers to tow machinery, high-lift hydraulic excavators, multi-purpose wheel loaders, wheelbase adjustment rescue wheel excavators, crawler trucks, 6-wheel, 6-ton dump trucks, 6-wheel large trucks, both short- and long-arm hydraulic excavators, and water trucks to level the area, remove debris, and spray and clean the Mandalay Community, Koh Sai, Mae Sai Sub-district, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province.

Today, the Disaster Prevention an
d Mitigation Department’s Operation Team from the Chiang Rai Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department Region 15 brought a rapid rescue vehicle to open a water drainage channel using a concrete cutter and a hammer drill to cut the concrete to open a water drainage channel in the Ban Tham Pha Chom area, Village No. 1, Wiang Pang Kham Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province. They also brought a 12,000-liter multi-purpose water truck to support the cleaning of pipes and drainage channels in the Thet Phrakiat Community, Koh Loi, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province.

In addition, the operation team of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Region 8, Kamphaeng Phet, together with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Region 15, Chiang Rai, brought a 10,000-liter water truck and a 12,000-liter multi-purpose water truck, together with the provincial police force, to spray and clean the area of ??the public park alon
