Disabled young man is heartbroken! He was tricked by a transgender call center gang into transferring money.

Disabled man is heartbroken! He was tricked by a transgender call center gang into lending him money. They said they would pay him back on the same day, so he believed them.

A scammer ladyboy called the victim and said she wanted to borrow money to pay for something. She would transfer the money back in the afternoon. She spoke as if she knew someone. This was a psychological trick that made many people believe that they knew each other and accidentally transferred money to her.

The victim is Mr. Tum, 29 years old, a physically disabled person. Today, Mr. Tum lives with his bedridden grandmother. The two grandmothers and grandchildren are villagers in Nang Rong District, Buriram Province.

Mr. Tum said that on September 25, he received 10,000 baht in digital money. Then on September 28, he got a phone call. Since he used to have a girlfriend who was a ladyboy, he thought she was an ex-girlfriend. After talking to each other for a while, the person on the other end of the line asked to borrow 12,000 baht, s
aying that he would pay it back in the afternoon of the same day. So he believed it, but luckily he only transferred 2,000 baht.

Afternoon passed, the other end of the line was silent. No calls, no transfers. After waiting 2 days, there was still no response, so I believed that I was probably scammed. That’s not all, on October 3rd, there was another phone call. This time, it was an AMLO officer, saying that the ladyboy I transferred money to the day before was a money laundering scammer. If I wanted to show my innocence, I had to transfer 5,000 baht to her for investigation. At that time, I was very scared, so I transferred the money immediately. But after the transfer, there was no contact. I called but couldn’t get through, so I was certain that I was definitely scammed.

Initially, the victim filed a complaint at Nang Rong Police Station and would like to tell the fraudsters not to make things worse for the disabled or those in need.
